Eligibility for Services

OHIO WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY is committed to ensuring optimal educational opportunities to people with disabilities. The first step in this process is to present recent disability documentation by a licensed professional qualified in the appropriate specialty area. This should include:

• A description of the diagnostic criteria and the diagnostic tests used
• A definitive diagnosis
• An explanation of current manifestations or functional limitations
• Detailed description of which accommodations have been used, and recommendations based on history and functional limitations
